Default 1.8 Chevy overfilled oil

1.4 turbo engine was overfilled by 4 litres by a quick lube. Drained oil and replaced oil filter, and refilled with 4 litres. Issue is I keep getting an underboost code. My guess is oil got into places where it shouldnt have. Any idea on how to fix?

* originally I wrote 1.8 engine, I meant 1.4

I would take it to the dealership. Either it'll be covered by warranty, and if it's not a defect, then the quick lube hacks need to compensate you for the bill.

Is the p0299 underboost code related to overfilled oil?

No warranty I messed up the mileage is 140000km

The "hack" is a 16 year old kid who just started working on cars and he already got reemed by his boss so I think and hope he learned a lesson.

it's an extremely common story, because they simply hire anybody to start working on cars with little or no training. They mess up cars all the time. And that's the best case scenario. The worst is when they cheat and trick people intentionally to shake them down.
Don't go there if you value your vehicle. Changing oil is very easy and quick to do.

Agree with MMJoe Quick Lube places hire a lot of druggies! They either don't put any ( or wrong ) oil in, don't tighten the filter, or get this, tighten drain plug with air gun ! Heard them all. I change my own and family members oil. Gets me some cash for cigars and bourbon!
