2019 Chevy trax ac never seemed to work properly?
Hi, all-
I was curious if anyone with a 2019 Chevy trax ever felt like their ac never cooled the car properly? Ever since I bought the car brand new off the lot last summer if the temp outside was higher than 65 degrees my ac never really cooled the car down. Even after hours driving with it on full blast. Has anyone else had this experience? Is this typical? Thanks!

there is a proportional relationship of ambient temp to ac output temp. ac system performance can be verified by doing an ac performance test...you can do it if you have an accurate thermometer. the car is run on max ac for 5 to 10 minutes with window up and doors closed. the ac temp is read thru the center dash vent. the dash temp is compared to ambient temp and humidity. the dash temp should reach a min temp on the performance chart. if it does, the system is working properly. if it doesn't further diagnosis is required.
