08 Uplander Engine Surges
I just bought a 08 Uplander LT. When the engine is cold the engine surges continusily until it get all the way warmed up. Just got it back from the dealer and they updated the computer software. The problem is still there. Any ideas out there.

I'm sure Shawn will give you some useful feedback shortly on your problem. A return visit to the dealer would likely be a good idea.... get it documented !!

I once had a Ford Contour that had the same surging behaviour when stopping at red lights. My mechanic found that the OEM batteryhad weakened and the onboard computer compensated for it by revving the engine for me. Put in new battery and the problem was gone.
