My 2008 has a very loud steering clunk. It is very loud driving down my 500 foot gravel driveway. I can also hear it with the car off while I wiggle the steering wheel back and forth. The same is true when the car is on at idle. I had a 2011 HHR a while ago that did something similar but not as loud at the time. Took it to the dealer under warranty and was told everything was normal of course. Is this a problem with the intermediate shaft?
