?? about charging system light
I have had a 2007 uplander for 1 year now, we got it with 1350 miles on it.
About 6 months ago, I ran through some pretty deep puddles and a light came on for about 2 secondswith a message that said charging system failure, we just assumed it was because of the puddles. Well it so happens that the light came on again yesterday just as quick. I should say that it had been wet here for two days, very foggy and misty yesterday, and rain the day before. Is it just because something got wet, or should I have it checked out? Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Talking about running into puddles about a month ago I was running into a torrential downpour my gas gauge stopped working. I was sure that this occurence was from the splashing under. After the vehicle was dried the gauge started working again. I covered with an piece of inner tube and tie wraps around the connector under the frame just in line with the rear passager seat. Now when it rains this connector which contains severals wires stay dry. I have a 2009 uplander. No more problems
