Default Air Conditioner & Locks

Looking for suggestions at what may be wrong with my 2005 Uplander. Two different problems:

Air Conditioner doesn't work. The air that flows out seems to be the same air temperature as the non air conditioner. If it is warm out side, warm air will blow. The AC Control Head was replaced after Christmas.

The power doors won't lock. Locking them with the flob doesn't work. Locking the doors with the door buttons doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Of course the old standard. Did you check the fuses? Look at the compressor and see if the clutch is engaged and stays engaged. Not going on and off. Do you hear a click when you try and lock the doors? You don't say, but do they unlock? Fuses first!

Have you checked for the refrigerant leak? I think it might be the problem. Check the fuse and door window regulator for the power door.

When the power lock button to lock the door is press, there is a tiny click in the dash area. Both the flob and door button can unlock the doors.

Check the fuses, they seem fine.

What would be the signs of a refrigerant leak?

After replacing the AC Control Head, the computer wasn't flashed. Could this be the problem for the air conditioning not working?

The others have posted some great possibilities regarding the AC. The door locks may be due to an actuator issue.

I encourage you to have the vehicle inspected by a certified technician for additional information.
