Red face Need Help. Having the exact same codes with ABS light on.

Please help. I have a 2006 Chevy Uplander. The ABS light is on. After taking the vehicle into a shop for a quick scan. The codes are c0035, c0036, c0040,c0041, and c0281. Can you tell me how you fix your car?

mine was a bit different, from my understanding the C0281 code comes up when both of the abs fail. in my case both were bad, but we only replaced left and never cleared the code after. so down the road we replaced the right hub, and cleared the codes and now everything is fine. So if you already have the hubs replaced then just clear the codes, if not, replace both hubs and then clear codes. Obviously check the wiring first, the wires that come out of the hub and connect to wires and going to whatever, it might just as simple as a bad connector, but most likely just its a failed abs. its not bad to replace them yourself, took us maybe 1.5hrs each side.

Thanks for the tips. I checked the wires that lead to the hub with my mechanic. The connectors appear to be good, but my mechanic pull out the wire from the conduit and pull lightly. The wires just break easily. Apparently, GM wrap the wire with hard tape that is not flexible, and the wires are just too short for the maneuvering of the wheels. Over time, it will get broken inside. I cut the wire and put an extra 3 inches of wire on it. The ABS light just clear itself.

I know it has been a long time, but do you happen to recall what was causing it? I have the exact same codes. That is the value of these forums, so if you figure something out, please post it instead of saying "nevermind".
