Driver Side seat doesn't work but I do hear the relay under the seat click when I turn them on and off. Does this mean the seat heater pads (back and bottom) are done for? Any idea how hard they would be to replace? Winter is nearly here and that drivers seat gets more use than any other, would be nice to have heat...

Which vehicle are you referring to? You posted in the 2005-2009 Uplander thread, but your profile states your vehicles as: 2007 Saturn Relay 3, 2007 Chevy HHR LT & 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. Which vehicle are you referring to?

I am referring to my 2007 Saturn relay, which is mechanically the same as a Chevy Uplander.

Have you checked the #13 (heated seats) and #31 (power seats) fuses in the Instrument Panel Fuse Block?

If the issue persists, consider having the vehicle inspected by a certified technician for an official diagnosis.

Yes, all fuses are good. The power seats work fine on both sides and heater is good on passenger side, just not drivers side. Relay under drivers seat clicks when seat heater button is pressed and button stays lit but no heat.

 

I would jumper the relay to see if the seat heats up, if so there you go, if not the problem probably in the seat itself Jumper as close to the element as possible

 

What wires do I jumper, or are there only 2 coming out of the relay?

 

We have a 2005 Uplander van and our driver's side seat no longer heats up but the rider's side does. Is there a fix?

 

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I am putting in heaters but can't get the hard plastic pieces off the back of the drivers seat. Any helpful info?
