They don't even make it anymore. What's the purpose of the poll?

My '07 LS RWB 35k miles has so far performed satisfactorily.
I needed a 6 passenger van for the 2 granddaughters and the Uplander was about the cheapest offering by anyone at the time. I got what I paid for.
I read Consumer Reports but bought the van anyway hoping that it couldn't be as bad as reported, so far so good.
I have had a couple of issues with the dealership and company over problems/faults and I'm far more disappointed in the warranty claim experience with GM and it's local dealers than I am with the van itself. I will likely not get another GM product based on that alone. The last GM I bought was in 1970 before the Uplander and it may be another 37 years before I get another one (I would be 104 yrs old).
The Uplander is NOT an Odyssey or Sienna but neither was the price, next time I will likely get a good used Honda, Toyota or Hyundai.

you can still buy them used and new in rare cases. Just seeing if ppl could buy go back would they buy them again or if they think GM wasted there time putting this turd together. > 73shark

I would might not buy another one again unless there were several changes or upgrades to different aspects, ie more comfortable seats.

However, I am keeping my 2005 as it is in like new shape because I have or will upgrade several different components when needed.

Oddly enough my wife was considering the Uplander to replace her Dodge Minivan....I have tried to talk her into to the Traverse, but she wants the mini-van

My '08 Cargo is ok so far (2 months ownership) at right at 99k on it. I think it has BCM issues because the radio backlight, passenger airbag (goes from off to on,etc) and dash info display either shut off on occasion or will stay dim or bright at different times. However, no flickering or lighting issues otherwise.
I expect the tranny to let go just north of the 100k warranty But I'm used to it, this replaced a '94 Grand Voyager that just had a third transmission rebuild (at the expense of the shop).

I also considered an '08 Grand Caravan but with a new 6 speed tranny that some are having issues with off the showroom floor, and knowing the potential issues the Uplander also has, I took the cheaper option. My sis in law has an Odyssey which has power sliding door problems (sound familiar lol) and numerous mechanical problems as of late. Don't forget they also had major transmission issues though Honda does a much better job of standing behind their defects...

I like the engine though which is the main reason I bought it

Have an 05 Montana SV6, previously had a 97. Been pretty good so far with 95,000 miles. I like the room and handling, fuel economy isn't bad with 24-27mpg. I have the 3.5L which has enough power 99% of the time. Have had a couple minor bugs but nothing serious. My first set of brakes lasted 80,000 miles!! I have had GM cars ever since I could drive so I knew their reputation, but figured the $5k in savings was worth a couple little headaches. Thought about tempting fate and "upgrading" to a used 07 with low miles, but will probably just hang onto this one for a couple years yet.
