i started having this problem yesterday where my car was overheating so i changed the thermostat and that went away. then i had the code P0302 Code - Cylinder #2 Misfire and there is a ticking noise inside the motor but i cant tell what it is. the car starts good but then engine starts stumbling.

 

How hot did it get when it overheated? You could be looking at some Headgasket troubles.
