Our 98 did that too. Had to replace both the resister in the blower box under the glove compartment $65.00 for part and the whole enviromental cluster $250.00 for part. Both were simple replacements but the the resister was a little difficult to reach. Sometimes its just one or the other not usually both from what I hear.

Check cabin filter, if it blocked it seems like the heater only works on 5.

Default Venture Heater Blowing Cool Air

My 2001 Venture Cabin Heater was week and finally it totally gave up. I have Flushed the cooling system and replaced the Thermostat 3 months ago. Engine temp is steady @ 85 deg. Line goes to Heater is nice and hot comming out of core is cold.
Before I replace the costly heater core I would like to check the pipe piece attached to the head with a priming screw on top. This should be doing the all important coolant flow in and out of the heater core. When take a sharp left turn while driving I get a short blow of nice hot air for for few seconds. could that mean the heater core is not blocked?
Please help me at your earliest as i have to drive in very cold winter in Toronto.

novate Motor temperature must be near or ligthly above 200 Farhenheit degrees, and there must no be air bubbles in the cooling system,_sorry for the syntaxis of my english_, and when you be adding coolant the heater must to be on

Hi, im having a problem with my car. I had a small hand held computer plugged in my car and the code came up P0341 cramshaft positioning sensor.. so I bought a new sensor and I put it in and the car is still doin the same thing...I also put a new fuel pump & filter thinking that it was the problem and its not..so my friend brought me the computer again and its saying the same thing....the cramshaft positioning sensor. ..I also put a new crankshaft sensor....im starting to get really upset cause I dont know what it is....

Hi!
in your case code P 0341 says - camshaft position sensor A-bank 1 ckt range/perf.
Most likely you have a loose connection (connector ) or a broken wire.
