Default 2001 venture mirrors

I was wondering how I can replace the passenger side sideview mirror. I was able to pop off the interior of the door and undo the three screws and get the assembly off, but I can't figure out how to get the wire off. How can I undo the wires and replace the assembly?

-thnx

if you mean the power wire there should be a plug in the wire somewhere on my dads car it was about 3"s doun from the miror but it was wraped in tape and foam to make it water tight so you might not see it right away.

mine is behind the actual mirror; i found it because i broke the mirror off. once i unplugged it, it didn't look like i would be able to thread it down through the entire assembly and up through the new one. any thoughts?
