2002 Venture stumbling and dying.
OK, so first I/M helped for a while, but then it started doing it again. Eventually took it off, and the new one was bad too. I also replaced the wiring between the crankshaft sensor ($100), and the sensor itself. Again, helped for a while.
Long story short, I was on a road trip earlier this week, and it died on the side of the road. Remember now, there has been NO code so nothing that a brick or any other troubleshooting device would catch. Anyway, got it towed to a local dealership, and they messed with it for a bit, and finally figured out that it was the female power connector for the fuel injectors that was loose. The mech. would wiggle/pull on it, and the engine would die - he'd push it back in, and it'd fire back up. He replaced the part (probably all of $.05), and she's back on the road running like a champ.
Just thought that you'd like to know, in case something like this happens to you...
Peace!
