2005 ABS issue
This seems to be a common problem. 2005 Chevy venture. When stopping (mostly at very low speeds) I get a vibration in the brake pedal. For some reason it's worse when turning. Eventually, I will diagnose the issue (I suspect the sensor wire but would like to hear any other ideas) For now, I just want to disable ABS (never liked it anyway... I'm old school and have been driving for over 45 years) Can't find the ABS fuse (or is it called something else) Instrument panel fuse box or under hood box?
I recently checked the brakes (I'm an auto mechanic) They looked fine. ABS wires looked good (but I didn't like the close clearance with the CV axle... bad design) I didn't think to do a quick check of the wheel bearings (front) Will do that soon.
When you say "doesn't seem to be an ABS fuse (on it's own)" are you referring to the fuse that also manages the door locks and power mirrors? (#7 at the 3:25 section of your video).
There's also another one bottom right on the video at the 1:40 mark.
If removing a fuse won't do it, unplugging a wheel speed sensor on the brakes should disable the ABS.
