Hi gang

I have a 99 venture and the engine ticks loudly when it is cold out until it warms. Once it is warm it still has a faint tick. I have heard this is normal. Any input from you guys out there.

This is normal its piston slap, it will not do any damage at all. There is a bulletin for some years, techs were replacing the piston skirts with teflon coated ones.
