We are at a loss to what's wrong...Wednesday the hubby was driving home and the van made a weird sound "like I just ran over a cat" and lost total power and it died. Thought maybe battery, wouldn't jump. Towed it home. Thought maybe starter, so took it off and had it tested, it's good. Battery tested fine too. Could only turn the crankshaft about 1/3 of the way. Maybe broke the timing chain? Tore something up in the motor? 2 years ago we had to totally rebuild the top of the motor when it died then. We are out of ideas and am hoping someone has any ideas that we haven't thought of to fix this van.
