Default Cabin HVAC blower running with ignition off and key out

Hi all, new to forum. I have been browsing the threads but not found the answer I am looking for.

I have 2002 Venture and have had dead battery in the mornings. I figured out the circuit that is draining voltage (HVAC/DIC/DRL) I think.

When you turn the ignition off, the cabin HVAC fans go off as you rotate the key off, but then come back on when the key hits the OFF position. Even if you turn the fan controls off, the battery still drains overnight unless I pull the HVAC/DIC/DRL fuse.

After doing some internet searching and tracing wiring diagrams, I thought the relay on the blower motor resistor panel was sticking, but that is not the problem. Any thoughts?

I talked to another guy who suspected the clockspring in the steering column. Don't know anything about the clockspring functions.

Figure I am not the only one who has seen this problem. Thanks!
