I recently changed the head and gaskets van sat for 8 months before work was done now work is done and the low oil pressure light is on and I also did an oil change any thoughts? possible oil pump?

 

Was the oil pressure good before the work was done? You can try a mechanical gauge to see if the low pressure reading is accurate. If the pressure was good before the work, then I would retrace my steps as something was done wrong or parts were wrong.

 

yes the oil pressure was good before the van was parked 8 months ago parts are all correct it has just been sitting with head and intake off for the 8 months there was water in the oil as well
