Default Only cool from fron vents, why?

I have an 00 chevy venture that is blowing only cool heat out of the front vents.

Back vents gives war heat...ok

how this can be possible?

I have put in a new thermostat, there is enough "water"
Both hoses on the engine are hot.

Is it blend door actuator, if yes, where is it ?

Where I can find picture of the engine 3.4 L and location and name of the parts?

Hi,

Had the same problem, as it turned out to be Head gasket which is common issue for this car...

My suggestion find a shop that have Combustion Leak Tester and will test your car. I found one, that did it for free.

Hi

Head gasket has already changed to this car, but

There are two different kind of main actuators?

Could it be
ACDELCO Part # 1572647 {#52487750}
ACTUATOR,MODE VLV w/FRT & RR HTR & A/C(C34) or A/C MAN CONT(C60); FRT HVAC UNIT

or

CDELCO Part # 1572288 {#16208039}
ACTUATOR,TEMP VLV w/FRT & RR HTR & A/C(C34); ELEC, REAR HVAC UNIT

does anyone know where those are situated?

thanks in advance

The actuators are under the dash. Not exactly sure where under the dash on the Venture, but they are under the dash.

Default Where this actuator could be?

Hi

I found actuator 1572647, it worked well. (gives air from vents)

Where to find right actuator, and where it is?

See:
RockAuto Parts Catalog

Heater Blend Door Actuator

could it be:

ACDELCO Part # 1573627 {Click Info Link for Alternate/OEM Part Numbers}
ACTUATOR,TEMP VLV w/FRT & RR HTR & A/C(C34) or A/C MAN CONT(C60); ELEC, FRT HVAC UNIT

Please if you know, please inform soon, thank you!

did you find an answer? my father in law has same issue. We were thinking clogged heater core or the door actuator vent. THe head gasket was just Barely leaking and seems to have stopped with the K&W fiber seal. We think the core is clogged so trying to figure out which hoses to try and flush first before we try replacing that or digging around for the vent
