I'm new to the site and looking for any help here on a knocking noise on a '04 Venture I'm hearing from the right front. This van had the CV boot replaced about a year ago when my Dad had the van. He bought a new one and gave us the Venture.

I only hear the noise when starting from a stop and at lower speeds. It's not consistent either, does it for a while then stops. I've heard it could be CV axle but I don't hear the noise when I turn. Don't think it's a wheel bearing, there's no squeal. So I'm thinking possible things are control arm bushings, strut. Any other bushings that could be wearing out? Has anybody experienced this before?

 

You might jack the front up, and lift check the wheel. You state you only hear it at low speeds. That may be only time when driving you hear it.
