Transmission experts? Shift point

Transmission experts? Shift point
Is there any way to adjust (whether software or mechanical adjustment) the upshift points for the transmission? Even under fairly light throttle, my first to second shift point is usually 3,500 - 4,000 rpm, as if it was a low torque engine which it really isn't. It would feel better to upshift sooner, but with everything computer controlled I wouldn't know where to look.
Does the shop manual show the expected upshift points under light and full throttle? Otherwise, the transmission seems fine; the shifting is fairly solid with no flare or slipping.
-Thanks.
