Default What Alternator ?

Hello.. First time here.

Have a 97 Chevy Venture. Need to get a new serpantine belt but I dont know if I have a 140 Amp alternator Thanks..

Vin Is 1GNDX03E3VD183292 if that helps any..

Welcome to the forum. I think yours came with P/N 10295859 which is a 105A unit. But, you may want to send a PM to Chevrolet Customer Service.

DIY is what this site is about. It is why people come here. You can even run his vin to tell what alt is factory installed? Thats BS. Seems like only objective is to drum up business for dealers

I couldn't tell what alternator mine had either I just took the old belt in and matched it up to the new one.

Thanks for the help everyone. Once I took the wiper shield off you can see the sticker on the Allternator and mine was the vallero unit if i spelled that right.
