starting problems
have a 99 suburban with a starting issue. the way i get it to start is to turn the key back and forth about three times just to on position walk away for ten min then come back and will start. after i get it to start it runs fine. i can turn it off and it will start right back up normally. if i let it set for like 8 hours problem comes right back. i asssumed it was fuel pump cause the gauge was off. i changed the fuel pump correcting the gauge issue but still have problems starting. any good answers???

when you try to start it does it turn over and just not fire. or does it do nothing. if it turns over but does not fire I would look to see if it is your anti theft. when it does not start you should find out if it is a fuel problem or a spark problem.
