May 16th is still over a month away at the time of this writing, which is the official unveiling date of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro at a special launch event at Detroit’s Belle Isle. But because this car is a big deal for General Motors, they’re slowly releasing details ahead of time through various component images and minor details.

Today’s release shows that the 2016 Camaro will in fact have wheels, tires, and brakes! Imagine that! Now how much would you pay?

In all seriousness, the new Camaro’s design and individual components were aided heavily by these things called computers, which helped reduce the overall weight of the Camaro and increase the structural rigidity by 28%. What were they using before to design Camaros, slide rules?

According to General Motors, the new Camaro is going to be significantly better than the current generation Mustang, and they are saying it’ll return to the top of the muscle car sales leaderboard. The current Camaro is a good car with a few flaws. If the General has fixed those issues we wouldn’t be surprised if Chevrolet’s prediction is correct.
