Chevrolet Unveils ‘Stars & Steel’ Collection for America’s Upcoming 250th Birthday
The Bowtie brand is going big for the nation’s semiquincentennial with limited-edition Corvettes and patriotic truck packages.
For nearly 115 years, Chevrolet has been the “Heartbeat of America,” woven into the fabric of our culture from small-town main streets to the high-banks of Daytona. As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary in 2026, Chevrolet is stepping up as the ultimate face of this milestone.
With almost 87 percent of the population living within 10 miles of a Chevrolet dealership, the brand represents the diversity of the American workforce and the spirit of domestic innovation. The newly announced Stars & Steel Collection isn’t just an appearance package; it’s a tribute to a nation built on grit and craftsmanship.
The Crown Jewel: 250-Unit Corvette Stars & Steel Edition
The most exclusive part of this lineup is the Corvette Stars & Steel Limited Edition. Only 250 units will be produced, making this an instant collector’s item. Available on 3LT and 3LZ trims across the entire range—from the Stingray all the way up to the monstrous ZR1X—buyers can choose between Arctic White with a Santorini Blue interior or Black with Adrenaline Red.
These cars will feature:
-
American Flag-inspired full-length stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black.
-
Unique sill plates and an interior plaque featuring the specific build sequence number.
-
Edge Red accents, including calipers, seat belts, and engine covers.
High-Performance Patriotic Trucks
Chevy isn’t leaving the truck enthusiasts behind. The Stars & Steel Collection spans the Silverado EV, LD, HD, and the Colorado.
-
Silverado LD: Built on the RST Crew Cab, it pairs the legendary 6.2L V8 with a Brembo performance brake system and 22-inch high-gloss black wheels.
-
Silverado HD: For the heavy-duty crowd, the LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss comes equipped with the 6.6-liter Duramax Diesel, Z71 Off-Road Package, and 20-inch wheels.
-
Colorado: The Trail Boss version gets the Midnight Package treatment, including a Sport Bar and Light Bar, along with signature red tow hooks.
-
Silverado EV: The RST trim gets an electric interpretation with massive 24-inch wheels and a specialized Brembo heavy-duty brake system.
Purpose-Driven Patriotism: Supporting Our Veterans
Chevrolet is doing more than just selling trucks; they are giving back. For every Stars & Steel vehicle sold, Chevy will donate $250 to veteran-support nonprofits.
Even bigger, a “one of one” 2026 Corvette ZR1X featuring the Stars & Steel design will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in January 2026. Every cent of the hammer price will go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to provide mortgage-free homes for fallen first responders and injured veterans.
Public Debut & Availability
If you want to see these in person before they hit showrooms, they will make their public debut at the Army-Navy Game on December 13, 2025. Production for the collection is slated to begin in early spring 2026.
While the name “Stars & Steel” refers to the aesthetic theme of dark metallic finishes and celestial accents rather than the literal construction material, the sentiment remains the same: these vehicles are built by Americans, for Americans.
