Detroit meets Deutschland with Instagrammer’s flawless 1966 restored C10 pickup.

The first generation Chevy C/K trucks kicked off an era of full-size pickup greatness. The C10 truck remains a favorite among classic auto collectors. However, we rarely come across these pickups outside of North and South America. When we found this 1966 Chevy C10 pickup living large in Germany we had to check it out.

Owned by Tjorven aka Cars n Cars 66, the C10 has been meticulously restored. Smart and effective custom details, such as the pinstriping, really bring out the character and style of the pickup.

It has some true hot rod DNA in its blood, but remains true to the era. Not a garage queen, this truck is driven daily. The engine sounds pretty damn good.

All mods to the C10 are restrained and work seamlessly with the period correct details. For example, the interior is clean and the B&M gear shifter works nicely with the vintage Chevy charm.

It is clear that Tjorven is a true Chevy fan, and he has invested a lot of time and energy (and probably money) to get his classic piece of slamming American steel. So worth it.

If there’s one thing that doesn’t need translation, it is the feeling of driving a finely crafted pickup.
