Cruze Drivers in China Have Cocoons for Parking

Cruze Cocoon

When you think about places to store your car, a garage is the first thing that comes to mind. Many people don’t have access to garages, so they use the trusty car port. But what if you’re looking for a different way to protect your ride? If you drive a Cruze and live in China, you can use these cool little cocoons to keep your car safe.

Basically, the driver backs the car into the cocoon, exits the vehicle, and then ensures the mirrors are folded in. Then the driver activates the cocoon, which completely covers the automobile. Since the vehicle is completely covered, it looks like it’d protect it from the elements or from theft pretty easily.

It also looks like a snug fit, so you won’t be getting a Silverado in there anytime soon. We also wonder how you get into the trunk if your car is parked inside the mechanical cocoon. But hey, it sure beats a carport, right?
