Hennessey Unleashes Wicked New Pair of Goliath Silverados

Hennessey lets you pick your poison with either a 700 or 805 hp Silverado and a slew of optional upgrades.

It’s been over a year since Hennessey Performance unveiled its insane Goliath 6×6, a hyper-limited vehicle built for a lucky select few. But somehow, we knew that this wasn’t going to be the end of high horsepower Chevy trucks from the Texas tuner. And luckily, it wasn’t. Because Hennessey just pulled the covers off not just one, but two new trucks – the Goliath 700 and 800. And as you might imagine, those numbers closely correspond to the truck’s insanely high horsepower numbers.

The Hennessey Goliath 700 does indeed produce an even 700 horsepower, mainly thanks to a 2.9-liter supercharger. But it’s also packing a ton of additional upgrades, including an HPE camshaft, air induction setup, and engine management calibration. A new intercooler keeps the temps down underhood, while things like chromoly hardened pushrods help strengthen up the factory and aftermarket parts.

If 700 horsepower isn’t enough, Hennessey also has the Goliath 800. Offering up a ridiculous 805 ponies, the 800 goes full bore with a 416 cubic-inch stroker motor that’s been fully built to hold up to the extra power. That means forged pistons, a hydraulic roller cam, and CNC-ported cylinder heads, among a laundry list of additional upgrades. The whole thing has also been balanced and blueprinted, and even comes with a one-year, 12,000-mile warranty.

Both the Goliath 700 and 800 aren’t just engine packages, of course. Either is available with an optional Stage 1 off-road package that adds all the typical exterior and suspension goodies you’d want. Things like a 6″ lift, custom front bumper with LED lighting, and Hennessey graphics. It also includes a set of 20″ Hennessey wheels wrapped in 35″ Toyo off-road tires. And if you want, you can add a slew of additional upgrades to your Goliath. Everything from a diamond-stitched interior to Brembo brakes and all sorts of other goodies.

Personally, we’d just opt for the performance upgrades and leave the rest stock. Then, we’d go out hunting Mustangs and Challengers for fun. Hennessey hasn’t yet announced any performance figures for the Goliath duo, but you can be they’ll be impressive. We’ve seen other hot rod trucks from the tuner hit 60 mph in times that would make many modern muscle cars blush. And even though they won’t exactly be cheap, that makes the powerful Goliath pair well worth the cost.
