Two years after the last, Holley Performance’s LS Fest West comes back to burn COVID-19 down at Las Vegas Motor Speedway late Spring.

Y’all remember LS Fest West? Holley Performance added a second annual celebration of the LS and Gen V LT V8s back in 2017, bringing the show to the sun and sin of Las Vegas. After all, some LS fans in the Mountain West might find it hard to make the drive over to Bowling Green, Kentucky in September for the original LS Fest; having one in Vegas just spreads the joy around!

Alas, 2020 was a joyless year. The pandemic wrecked a ton of plans, including Holley’s fourth LS Fest West. However, 2021 is a different year, and Holley is read to light COVID-19 on fire with the raw power of the LS! Coming to Las Vegas Motor Speedway April 23 through 25, the mighty roar of West Coast chapter returns for a fourth time.

If you haven’t been to LS Fest West before, or forgot what it was like, then y’all are in for a celebration like no other. For one thing, the East Coast chapter doesn’t have “Dirt Destruction.” That’s right! You can watch LS-powered buggies and trucks beat the desert sand up on a special track located at LVMS’s front stretch. And when they’re not flying high, you can check ’em out on the ground in the pits.

Prefer clouds of tire smoke over dust? The Drift Challenge is here to bring you some simultaneous drifting, baby! Anything with an LS or Gen V LT will dance with the walls and their friends, all for a shot at $1,500 and tons of new fans.

Of course, the drag races also offer plenty of tire smoke, in the form of sick burnouts before knocking out the best E.T.s in the house! You might even catch a few famous names heading down the quarter-mile, like Cleetus McFarland and his crew of mighty machines.

Then, there’s the autocross. Bear witness to every LS-powered machine bobbing and weaving through the cones in their specific time classes, each competitor gunning for the LS Fest West Grand Champion title.

And we can’t forget the Show-N-Shine, where your favorite Camaros, Corvettes, and C10s enjoy their time in the desert sun. An oasis of Bow Ties away from the excitement on the track, and the Strip.

LS Fest West offers something for every LS fan. The fact the fourth edition has the green light thus far is a welcome sign of the light at the end of this dark tunnel. Let freedom roar with a stampede of 100,000 horsepower.
