SEMA 2019: Carhartt, Chevrolet Deliver Special Silverado HD to Vegas

Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition combines Z71 package with themed interior, will arrive in showrooms next fall.
It was only just a few days ago that we were all at SEMA 2019 in Las Vegas, soaking up the warm desert sun, the bright lights of the Vegas Strip, and the sights and sounds of the wild, custom Chevy trucks and SUVs gathered at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
While most of the cool Chevys were one-offs, we found one that anyone can buy from the showroom (just not yet): the 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition.

As with other clothing and lifestyle labels like Levi’s, Eddie Bauer, and L.L. Bean, Carhartt — known for their high-quality work wear — has thrown its hat in the designer-branded car game with their take on the Silverado HD. The whole affair starts with a Silverado HD LTZ equipped with the Z71 off-road package, which is ready to pull all tree stumps out of the ground, thanks to the 445 horses and 910 lb-ft of torque from the 6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel V8 and 10-speed Allison automatic.
From there, it’s all Carhartt, starting with the exterior, whose Mosaic Black Metallic paint is trimmed with a yellow pinstripe running across the entire upper body of the Silverado HD. The Carhartt “C” logo takes its place on the doors and tailgate as a badge placed at the end of the “Silverado” badge.
Inside, the Silverado receives a Carhartt-themed interior, with the company’s logo on the all-weather floor mats and seat inserts. The seats themselves are black leather with tan leather inserts, and the dash features leather-trimmed pieces across the board.
Heading back outside, the Carhartt Silverado is shod in 20-inch gray wheels, each wrapped in 20-inch all-terrain tires, and accented with black lug nuts and wheel locks. The bumpers are body color, as are the grill, tow hooks, door handles, and skid plate, and the black soft tonneau cover has the Carhartt logo stamped into the right rear corner.

The 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition will be available at your local Chevy dealership in the fall of 2020. No pricing was announced at this time.
