I got the blue 2500 with a bad diesel engine for my son, he's 14 now, as a project for us. I have a 88 k1500 myself. I found a 88 Chevy 2wd for 400 bucks I picked up for parts for my truck. How hard is it going to be to put this 5.7l 350 tbi in this 94 Chevrolet????? I have wiring harness and ecm out of the other truck

 

What year is the diesel? The computer in the 88 won’t control a 4l80e trans.

 

Diesel is a 94. I have the ecm, harness and all to install

 

So after new head gaskets, rod and main bearings, front and rear seals, new edelbrock intake, headers, MSD Ignition, rebuilt TBI with matching flow injectors nice clean painted up sbc 350 to put in this 94 a friend shows up and sells me a LS motor, trans, t-case and all the wiring, and control modules out of a 06 chevy pickup. Any thoughts ideas concerns on putting this in my kids 94 2500 that had the blowen 6.5L in it???
