I have a 1995 Sierra 1500 v6. Has been sitting a while when I go to start it runs fine and idles, Give it gas and it revs as it should.. As soon as I go from P into R or Drive it dies. If I quickly move from park to 1 and then 2, it drives fine with no stalling. Put it into 3, D, or R it immediately dies. I did a google search and some other people have torque clutch issues but not sure this would be the case as it will not stall in the low gear, or maybe that is the problem. Any input or suggestions greatly appreciated.
