Hi, I'm I the UK where I bought the truck and previous owner has used reverse lights as orange indicators, probably to compky with UK regs. I am trying to wire in a worklight on the rear t use as reverse light and have found a terminated light green wire I the rear lamp cluster, just wondered if that is the reverse light feed. If not, does anyone know which wire to splice into. Thanks.

 

I've heard of light green and blue used for backup lights, so that's probably it. Put a test light or mutimeter on it , shift into reverse and see what happens.

 

Thanks guys, all sorted, it was the light green wire, now got a decent reverse (sorry, backup light). I love this forum. Feel a bit lost the side of the pond, will have t move stateside!
