I’d hope after all this trouble you’d know better than to shop at a place where there’s No Auto Parts Available…

Just looking on rockauto.com it looks like the position is only noted for the remanufactured injectors, but the new ones don’t note any difference. I’m not sure why it would matter unless the company that did the remanufacturing installed a coil that required specific polarity to function, which doesn’t make sense for an injector as it’s operation is very basic. Current on = injector open and current off = injector closed - polarity wouldn’t matter.

I’m not even sure how they would tell the difference between them unless they received a complete TB unit and noted the position during disassembly.

From the factory the injectors are interchangeable side to side, so I’d recommend getting a new one or trying to contact the reman company to find out what the difference actually is. If they have installed a polarized coil, you could always get the other side and reverse the injector leads in the connector. The ECM will never know the difference.

I put a new regulator in it and it wouldn't hold pressure for more then 5 seconds so I added a inline check valve and it does the same thing. I can't find any leaks under truck or any of the gas lines so I'm guessing the o ring on tank or gas cap could be leaking air? Any ideas

I was literally just wondering if you’d made any progress.

Is it actually reaching 9-13 PSI?

If yes, try pinching off the return line again and see if it holds. If yes, it’s possible the new regulator is torn or not lined up correctly. It’s been a while since I’ve had one apart but I do recall the assembly being kind of a pain.

Oh yes I was getting 10-12 psi but it just wouldn't hold with huge hole in gas neck no doubt lol

Or does it matter for psi holding in fuel line if air can escape from gas cap or gas fill vent tube? I think it matters but idk?

The filler neck having a hole in it will allow dirt and debris into the tank but it won’t affect the pumps ability to produce pressure unless the contamination gets into the pump - but, your pressure is good so no reason to suspect that.

The tank does have to vent - most of them just vented through the cap but depending on the emissions level it may have a different inlet.

Now I have perfect fuel pressure 12 psi but it is doing the exact same thing. The front 2 cylinder plugs #1-2 are bone dry and the back #5-6 soaked after I try to crank engine.

So I decided to check vacuum between map sensor and throtle body I am getting 0hg with the mighty vac. Also 0hg at brake booster and I can't see any broken vacuum hoses but map sensor will hold 5hg.
