I've currently got an 02 chevy 1500hd 4x4 with the frame rusted pretty bad. I've got an opportunity to by a frame that came from an 03 gmc 2500hd that seems to be identical body wise ( 4 door standard bed etc). Really good price already stripped of cab and bed. Has anyone on here converted one to 4x4? I was told by multiple people that they are almost identical between 2wd and 4wd frames with minimal work for conversion but looking for someone that can confirm this before I purchase the frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
