A few weeks ago my radio would not shut off. i shut drivers door few times and it shut off. Been doing normal. Yesterday i drove and Dome light stays on and security light flashes when I shut truck off. I disconnected battery and let sit all night. This morning, I reconnected battery and when I tried to start truck I had to give it gas to start. It will idle real low and run ,but dies if I put in gear. Dome light on and security light still flashing. Where do I look?

 

the dome light/radio problem is probably due to a bad door switch.

as a result of drain, the battery + alternator could be in bad shape. Get them both load tested at the parts store.
