Default 2004 Silverado leaks when it rains

I have a 2004 and it leaks into passenger side alot and drivers side a little when it rains heavy. The water just accumulates in the floorboard. Has anyone had this problem. The a/c drain is not plugged.

My take is door seals. Wouldn't think at the age of your truck that would be the case, but, my opinion.

So I replaced door seals and didn't fix it. A mechanic checked it out and said he got it to leak when he turned on a/c. There is a seal kit for evaporator case I believe. It was on a tech bulletin to replace these seals. Its big job and costs a lot. My concern is he only got it to leak with a/c on and I'm seeing it leak when it rains heavy. I just don't want pay to fix it unless we resolve all leaks. It could be tied together or it could be separate issues. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

No sunroof. It doesn't seem to drip in from anywhere. It just shows up.

My 93 Suburban is a different style, but same problem with water on floor; it was water leaking through the firewall seam

windshields leak too. As do roof seams. Many sources. You're going to have remove some carpet and trim, get the garden hose out and track it down. Also try blasting the fan on full , spraying soapy water from outside, and look for bubbles.

remove some trim panels and sit inside...have someone go around the windshield with a garden hose...watch for an entry point. don't use a pressure washer.

I mounted a large blower on the drivers window to pressurize car, then poured soapy water all over front of vehicle. I could see bubbles coning from the passenger side seam. Took me a few months to figure this out; I think I have a thread on it here from a few/several years ago. Have had no leaks since repair.
