they accept evap not complete because its temp dependant..ie it won't run in cold weather. Incomplete for the other monitors should not apply.

 

Also now having transmission issues, if I clear codes for the trans will that also clear the emission or internal monitors ? getting a harsh shift for all gears and a component slipping code P0849? I assume the torqconvertor.

 

sounds like the code is causing the trans to raise line pressure to prevent the slip...hence the harsh shifts.

 

On this 4L80, I just had a guy replace the torque converter it now does lockup, but the trans now does not shift above 2 when it should go to 3 or 4 it stavs in 2 - It went through all gears fine before the torque converter change, so rather sure he did some thing. no codes yet.
