Default Drivers Door Ajar indicated & Interior Lights stay on when driving

Hello Everyone,
I have an issue with my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the Diesel engine, crew cab with 6.5 foot bed. It is also parked outside all year and not garaged. We use the truck to pull our 34 foot 5th wheel Keystone Montana.

The issue that I have is the interior lights stay on and also shows "Driver Door Ajar" (door is closed but shows unlocked, other doors show locked) when driving on the road.
I have lubricated the latches on the front & rear doors per someone's recommendation on youtube, issue remains.
I have also looked at the wiring between the driver's door and frame. Don't think it's the problem, this is usually when nothing works from what I have been reading on forums. I figure it wouldn't hurt to check. Putting the rubber gasket back on is another story.

I did pull the fuses for the overhead interior lights (TBC2 I think) & the drivers door (DDM). I could not locate the fuse for the passenger door light. Without the DDM you can't use your key fob to unlock and lock, got to use the key. Re-installed the fuses, what I discovered was that all the interior lights do go off after about 10 minutes whereas before it would be off after about 30 seconds when parked.

My guess is the Drivers Door Module most likely needs to be replaced. They're a bit pricey, my next step would be taking the truck to the dealer to see if they can find the problem.
I had a problem a few years ago with my outside mirrors not being able to adjust fully, found out it was the adjustment motors in the mirrors themselves and not the DDM.

Anyone have other ideas or suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

I talked to the service rep I deal with at the Chevy dealer, describing the problems I was having, and he says it's most likely the Door Latch Actuator Assembly. Will be making an appointment to get it replaced. Don't have a garage space to work in so it's going to the dealer. Now is not the time to be working/repairing my truck outside. It's not the Driver Door Module like I thought. It sure helps to know the vehicles.

Thanks everyone for looking.
