Default Need some help/experience

I just bought this truck used about a month ago. It has 145k miles on it. Ever since I bought it, it has been temperamental. But this new issue has me confused and frustrated. About a week ago, I drove to work fine with no issues. When I went to leave work I was locked out of my stereo, my “Service 4WD” message came up on my dash, and no lights on the dash would turn on. I drove it to where I was going next and fiddled with some of the fuses. I got it home and didn’t drive for a couple days. When I went to drive it next, there was no issues whatsoever. Radio worked fine, no 4WD message, all the lights turned on. Drove like that for a week or two and now I’m here. Same issue happened again. This time later at night so it was dark which allowed me to realize that the headlights won’t turn on, as well as any of the inside lights. Along with all of the previous issues. Really confused as to why the problem would resolve itself and then come back again. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

that is a hard one. every computer module on the truck sets fault codes. I would have all the codes cleared out. drive it and see what sets when the problem occurs. the codes will be a clue to which system is causing the problems.
