Default 2007 won’t turn over

2007 Silverado 8.1 3500 classic acts like battery is dead. Has new battery and full charge. When turning key, it sounds like it tries to crank, but just for a second, then acts like low battery. No sound of clicking solenoid. Last time started it turned over immediately with no indication of starter problems. All electrical in truck works, lights, radio, locks etc. pulled starter relay and tried another relay. Didn’t help. Any ideas?

Carefully,,,,,,,,,,,,tap the starter not too hard,,,,then try to start it. If it starts now ,, you will need a starter.
