Default 2010 Chevy 1500 EVAP and Fuel module codes

I have had P069e fuel pump control module. I haven’t done anything about it because everything I looked up pointed me in a different direction. Plus the engine light would only come on at certain times.

Recently I knew I had another code when my remote start wouldn’t work and the engine light never went away. It ended up being a P0449 EVAP solenoid valve control circuit.

Both videos I watched on changing this out were different locations and different canisters. I found my canister and solenoid, but on the video it had the filter going up to the fuel tank neck. Mine doesn’t go up to there so I’m wondering where it would be. Any help would be very appreciated.

No problemo. Your fuel filter is part of the fuel pump assembly, inside your fuel tank. Don't know why a vehicle that might be driven off-road doesn't have an external fuel filter, but it's just one more reason I will keep my old 1998 K-1500 where the fuel filter is mounted on the frame, and easy to change. Some things should not be modular at all.

I was trying to figure out the location of the EVAP filter. On some they are above the fuel neck but mine is ran toward the front of the truck.

they relocated the evap filter to sit on top of the transmission...this area is free from dirt and keeps the filter from clogging.
