Default Part Name

I found many water leaks and I am buying and installing all new weatherstrip seals. The problem I'm having is finding the name of the 2 black strips of rubber on each side of the roof just above the roof drip weatherstrip above the doors.

Does anyone know if the name of these parts and are they an actual seal or just decorations as I haven't removed them yet?

Jim

I tried a bunch of those sites for GM parts with no success. It seems that anything weatherstrip has an outrageous price tag. Has anyone used this site "OEMcats.com" their prices are reasonable but scary compared to other GM Part sites. On OEMcats site their price seems to be anywhere from 50% to 70% lower than any site they refer to. I would order from they but they don't sound legit, even when I go to the other referenced sites they all look the same.

Is OEMcats legitimate???

I meant use the site to find the part number (that was the question)

You provided zero vehicle details, but parts just eventually go out of production.

Sorry for being a pain in the xxx but I though this was the 2007 - 2013 (GMT900) forum which is what my truck falls under not a Car , Van , R-V , Cab Chassis , Station Wagon , Medium Duty Truck , Heavy Duty Truck etc.

Any ways I found out what the part is. It's the roof molding, the little black strip on the roof on the drivers side and passenger side. No function, per my question.

Driver side GM -
22888222
Passengers side - GM - 122888223

No more question from me.

Well since the GMT 900 07-13 covers several body types including 3 Pickup truck cabs the Blazer and Suburbans Knowing at least that info would have helped since you were searching for specific parts .
Glad you found what you were looking for .
