Default Upper ball joint and ABS

Hello all, my son has a 2016 Silverado, he was coming home from work the other evening and the upper ball joint separated. Thankfully he managed to keep it off the wall on the interstate and made it to the side of the road. I get the truck to the shop and assess the damage. All that ended up being needed was upper A-arm, cv axle, and the abs sensor. All of that has been replaced, now my problem is the left front abs sensor!!🤬 The reason for replacing the abs sensor was when the ball joint separated it ripped the wires in two right at the base of the connector. I have put a new sensor in, went to clear the codes, code clears, then about 5-10 sec later it comes back on. I have system voltage at the abs connector on the harness side. I have ohm checked the sensor and I can not get a reading, I have checked for ac current while rotating the wheel to see if it is pulsing, I have swapped it with another new sensor, still to no avail I can not get the code to clear. The code/codes in question; c0035 & u0400. According to my code reader, The “35 code is for the left wheel speed sensor, and the 400 code is invalid data received. My code reader is not a high dollar one, but I can read/clear abs codes. I need a point in the right direction if at all possible. Thanks
