USB port not playing music/media

USB charges but don’t play music or media
2014 duramax LTZ 3500 usb port only charges and does not play my Pandora on the screen it does not even light the usb up using I phone 11 it’s all up to fat I need help tried some things I’ve seen on here but no luck any advice would be much appreciated
