Default 2013 Suburban LTZ / Android integration?

So there is no way to integrate my Android.. Samsung Galaxy phone with the vehicle? It appears the USB will only accommodate iPhones. Are there any solutions for this? additional software? Can I play music from my S3 in any way through the vehicle (Bluetooth or otherwise?)

Welcome to the forum.

Have you tried plugging your phone into the USB socket?

Does the owner's manual address this issue?

Bluetooth does not support streaming so that is out. I don't know about the USB since I have an iPhone, but I assume that you checked that before you posted. If it does not the only other option is to plug an audio cable between the headphone jack on the phone to the Aux input on the stereo.

I didn't try it first because I don't have any music on my phone. I didn't realize an iPhone could not be connected with the USB cable. Does that mean the only way you can get info off your iPhone is through the internet?

iPhone work with the integrated dash system. The droids do not. rrich, thanks. I will just take that approach and plug it in the aux input on the stereo.

Much appreciated.

Since I saw a cable online that would connect an iPhone to a USB connection, why can't you use that?

Is there a 3.5mm audio jack on your head unit?

73Shark.. I don't have an iPhone. I have a Galaxy which runs the Android OS which is not compatible. The software in the vehicle is only for Apple products, iPhones, iPods etc. So I think until GM works something out to accommodate both Operating Systems, I'll just have to run a cord from the phone headphone jack to the aux input on the stereo. That should work to at least play music from the phone through the sound system.

Thanks!!
