Default 1995 chevy astro parking light problem

Hi guys,
I have a 1995 astro and I am having issues with my parking lights. They flicker and seemingly short when the switch is turned off and the key is not in the ignition, and appear to be shorting out. I tried unplugging the wiring harness to the switch to see if it was faulty and they still flickered. I also tried removing the fuse that is supposed to be for parking light and it still didn't solve the problem. I suspect I may have a wiring issue. Any thoughts? or does anyone know where I might find a wiring diagram for the lights? any info would be greatly appreciated

thanks!

I really don't know. Does it happen all the time, just when the vehicle is in motion, parking lights only or headlights too?

it would seem it happens only when the vehicle is parked I think, but I'm not sure. It is only the parking lights (the amber ones on the front). It really seems like a wire is shorting as they flash for a brief second then go out, in an irregular pattern. I just cant wrap my mind around why, after I took out the fuse, they were still flickering. It keeps killing the battery and I really need to figure it out..

Sound like you have a bad wire somewhere. Since they are getting power with the fuse removed, pull other fuses one at a time till they lose their power source. This will narrow down which wires need to be inspected/repaired.
