Default Bypass engine imobiliser?

I have a 95 Tiara day van bought cheap as a non runner. It doesn't run and it seems the new fuel pump primes but isn't delivering fuel to the injectors. The ignition key fob which I assume opens the doors and arms the immobiliser is damaged...a microswitch missing and no tell-tale light working. I think the immobiliser is possibly armed and stopping the ECM from charging the fuel injection. Is there a way of by-passing this?

Default Astrovan Immobiliser

The battery in the remote is flat but I cannot see any tell-tale red security light flashing in the cab. I have ordered new battery as it's an odd size not used much in the UK. There is power to the fuse box, a spark and the fuel pump primes. There doesn't seem to be fuel at the injectors though there is fuel in the rail. Does anyone know what the immobiliser actually cuts out??
Here are photos of the ignition key and alarm fob.

Sorry geo1, language difficulties...are grounds the same as earths....the negative current returns. That's what they are over here. Do you mean the wiring harness "grounds" I don't know where the alarm/immobiliser unit is. Is it part of the ECM. Everything else in the van goes live with the ignition switch on, wipers, digital dash, starter motor etc. But the engine just cranks and only fires if you blast engine starter fluid into the Throttle Body.

Yep,the same,so what motor in this thing?I'm thinking underhood electric problem,do you have 12v on + side of injectors with key on?the ground (earth)side is the switching from ecm,so that would blink with test lite

Some research,My Business - ??????Security light on? Car not starting? Everything else works like it should? You probably have a failed security system... This is a very common problem on GM vehicles. You'll find some useful tips and bypass methods below. Welcom, maybe some help

Thanks geo1 I'll have a look at this ASAP, it sounds like the same symptoms. When the battery arrives for the fob I'll try that first then go from there.

Default Still no luck

So I've put the new battery in the fob but the tell tale doesnt light . The security light is on the dashboard. Does the key fob turn the Immobiliser on & off? Or is it the slug In the ignition key? Could trying a "relearn" procedure effect the system. Is it possible to get a new fob and reprogram it?
