Default Avalanche CJ2 Auto Climate Control Issues

I have a 2003 Avalanche with the CJ2 auto climate control. I have looked everywhere for an answer, but didn't find my problem. The fan doesn't blow air, but at higher speeds, I feel the cold a/c like it was on the lowest temp setting regardless of the temp selected, except the highest temp setting gives me max heat. BTW the fan motor works fine (I put 12v to the motor and it blows strong). I also checked the voltage coming from the dash controls at all fan speeds, and I have between .5v to 10.5v. After I plugged the control module back to the fan and dash, the fan started blowing again, but I still couldn't control the heat settings. I tried a new control module (between the dash and fan motor) and it didn't fix the problem with the heat settings either. When I plugged the original control module back in after that, no fan anymore. Any clues where to look next?
