Default Chevy Avalanche Remote Keys

Hi Guys, so i bought some replacement keys for my 2013 Avalanche - i'd watched the YouTube vids of you being able to "re-code" the new remote keys, without realising that this doesnt apply for the later models (crazy i know!)

The keys i bought, i then took to a chevy dealer here in the UK, however they say they cant be re-coded. I cant remember the amazon shop i ordered them from (although i can find out!) however the reason i got non-GM ones was because i wanted something more modern.

Has anyone got an idea where i can oreder some more modern looking remotes that work for my truck? its kinda semi-serious as i'm down to one remote key now

Thanks in advance from the UK

Thanks - its even worse over here, in the UK the dealers just wernt set up to reprogram it and i bought some fobs on Amazon that were supposed to work but didnt

I'll have to try some different ones but its getting them re-programmed. On the earlier trucks you could do it yourself through the management screen! ucks they changed it!

Many Thanks
